Superior Homecare Services is keeping fully abreast of developments relating to the continued spread of Coronavirus COVID – 19 across the UK and Ireland. We are routinely monitoring developments, reviewing our protocols, and preparing appropriate responses as the situation evolves. Superior Homecare Services is committed to ensuring all steps are taken to protect the health and wellbeing of all our colleagues and customers.
Just as we have done previously in preparation for and during virus outbreaks, Superior Homecare continues to work closely with Health Authorities, UKHCA/CQC and Care Regulators to protect colleagues and customers and maintain service delivery. We are keeping our Business Continuity Plans under review in preparation for a possible escalation of the outbreak.
At the moment we are testing staff twice a week through Home test Kits, we have also have rapid testing kits (Lateral Flow Testing) where we can have the results for the COVID test back in 15minutes.
The rapid testing will be used for all staff who have come into contact with COVID positive Colleagues, Service User or any Staff or Service User who are showing symptoms.
With the Rapid testing in place we will be able to identify Positive Staff or Service Users faster, which will help us, stop the infections from spreading further.
